Dr Richard Lee was privileged to be invited to author the Glaucoma chapter for a new book that provides an expert overview of all aspects of ophthalmic care in clinical practice.

Dr Richard Lee has an active interest in research and surgical innovation. He has published over 50 papers including several book chapters and he has delivered over 25 presentations at local, national and international level. 

 

Dr Lee undertook a MSc in Surgical Technology at Imperial College London and a clinical research fellowship at the world renowned UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. The fellowship was funded by a National Institute for Health Research innovation grant to develop a new surgical glaucoma device leading to the award of a PhD in Ophthalmology and a prestigious international Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology translational research award.
